I'm calling this one tournament 0 because the purpose of it was for the placements of the coming weekly tournaments. The preliminary brackets allowed me to separate the Alpha Division (top-tier players) and Omega Division (bottom-tier players) into two groups, thus allowing our future tournaments to be faster, fairer, and far more entertaining.

Now Poogs moves on to being the defending champion, unless by some horrible luck we can't manage to find an alpha-worthy player for next week. Poogs will stay the defending champion until someone manages to defeat him in a full-length best of 7.

I'd like to see this tournament extend to higher numbers, so if you have any friends that play Starcraft 2 and would be willing to commit to these weekly tournaments, let them know and we'll add them to our roster! Make sure to tell them the tournaments commonly start on Friday evening.
