i don't think i've drawn kenji without alcohol before , it really fits his personality. although it is nice to see his softer side, back when he was dating yuuko/not crazy in some hypothetical pre-ks world.

what is her name?

im glad you all like this little sketch, her name is piper and she is one of my characters. i used to draw her a lot but i haven't got the chance to lately. she's part of a big story/universe in my head that i rarely speak of. i think after i get all my sakuracon merch sorted out i'd like to give her another shot with what i've learned since the last time i seriously tried to paint her. her design has changed slightly over time but not too much. she's often pictured with a girl with green hair whose name is penny, and another girl with red/orange hair who still needs a name.

My phone froze loading the half naked lady while at work haha. That's a good camera you got there.

my condolences. i hope you get to see the rest of her later. i'd actually like to paint that one. the camera is actually an ipad i got for christmas, i used an app called 'camera awesome' which is free and does a good job at focusing on things that are really close. but obviously still not as good as a scanner could do, but i don't have my scanner with me right now ofc.

so strange to see this much realism from you. it must be the drapery. your traditional art is solid, rtil. i know some artists weaken in traditional media as they are so used to digital.

i do this whenever i want to study something in lots of detail. tbh the only traditional media i am good at is pencil and some other dry media like conte and charcoal. i am a terrible traditional painter, which i sort of lament, but it's something i really don't have the time and space for.
