i kinda hate masks because I feel they make the timeline a lot messier.but I know that used inside movie clips they are pretty useful.
there is a masked frame in this cartoon and I only used it at like the intro sequence and now I fear cuting those frames because if I did so I would lose the effect.

truth be told I could fix that very easily but Ive never dedicated more than 5 seconds of tough to it.

now that im outta school I will work on that+rest of the cartoon.

draw the robot one 1 layer so you can really focus on fbf and not have to worry about all his parts. you could use a mask to hide his bottom underneath that table.

You mean animate the entire robot on one layer ans mask it so that you know it's correct? because I read this a few times and that's all I understood from it, but I have a feeling I'm missing something here.

i have finally found the necessary inspiration to finish this!

all I need is to make up an ending and im done
(maybe should have tought of one when i started doing this heeehhh

for the next following days im going to work on some walk/run cycles i will need for one of the final sequences
today i worked on vince himself, i know this run is missing a bit of a bump feel but at least I think it truly reflects the "run in panic" emotion i was looking for.

I think I might be finished by the end of this week. There is still one walk cycle that makes my eyes bleed and I might just delete it and make at least that one from scratch.

if I learned anything with this cartoon, it is def. how important it is to storyboard or at least make an animatic before you proceed with animation

maybe its just me but i honestly lost some interest in watching the movie in the end because compared to the first scenes it was just really animated wel and so entertaining but in the end it kinda looked a bit off and not so well entertaining as the first scenes

it actually seems pretty well planned out despite not being storyboarded, but that's probably also due to the massive amount of time you've had to work on this

it looks good so far, i really liked the beginning part with the building transitioning into a road.
