Tablets and touchscreens never really worked for me with drawings and signatures. I just trace and color in existing pictures with flash with my mighty mouse!

Quote from: Gmagnumi was wondering if i should save up to get a tablet pc rather than getting a tablet for my laptop. if anyone out there owns a tablet pc, does it peform well when drawing and is it worth buying? i\\\'m thinking of a hp pavillion tx2500z.
definite yes

ive had my toshiba satellite tablet laptop for 3 years now and it still works very well and is relatively crash free. having used both, the tablet feature on my laptop is every bit as good as a cintiq in terms of capabilities pressure sensitivity wise. only difference is slightly smaller resolution, not an issue though since the screen is very big as it is. although i do recall having to download a driver online for the sensitivity to work, which was free.

it is absolutely worth buying if you ask me, since it costs less than a cintiq for nearly the same functionality, plus an entire computer instead of just a touchpad monitor. it also costs less than a macbook.

i would recommend toshiba as well since its been pretty much the most reliable computer ive ever owned
