This is an absolutely stunning piece. The soft colors and expressions really bring this piece out and make it exceptionally pleasing to look at. This is sooooo feature worthy and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. The detail in this piece is amazing giving it a realistic feel without throwing off the fantasy of the piece. The piece has such a calming affect that it is sure to make you sigh a breath of comfort and relief. This is definitely candy to the eyes of the viewer. The soft pink is soft enough not to throw the picture off but vibrant enough to catch your attention and make you stop and view the entire piece. The whole piece gives a gentle feel; a friendly feel. Man's best friend, no? I'm not sure if this was the purpose of the piece but the best things discovered in life are usually accidents, so....

It's a great picture. Alot of detail, great technique, good composition. But I still don't like it.


The expression of the wolf is too human seeming to me, and it throws of the serenity of it by making think, why does the wolf look mildy human.

Also, and this has nothing to do with whether I like it or not, but it's ears are pierced. You notice that?

the pink is disturbingly unnatural and not pleasing to look at.
also seems that the wings aren't exactly attached to the dog at all....
the ribbon is just god awful.

It looks like the nose/mouth is drawn in a different perspective than the rest of the head.

Yeah, I like it. At first, the pink wings did kinda throw me off a bit, but then I looked at it again today, and it's not as vivid as I'd imagined it. Yeah, the nose does look a bit weird, and the feathers that have fallen off of it look like pink Pringles, but I wouldn't fault him/her for it. Due to the piercings however, I'd say it either is a person who can change back and forth...what do you call 'em...animorphs?...umm...trying to think back to Harry Potter...umm...can't remember. Love the ribbon/collar(?) thing...it's so long...wonder what the story is behind this...
