Finished Lolita. Good book, albeit (and this might just be me being impatient) I feel the recounting of details of the last 5 or so years of one's life wouldn't be as vivid as how Humbert portrayed them. Otherwise a recommended, pedophile-ey read. Onto Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre.

I don't want this thread to fade away

Just finished Catch-22 and I am really glad I put the time in to read it. It was funnier and crazier than I ever could have expected, and was pretty gripping at that. The happy, concise ending really made me smile.

Next I'm gonna work on some smaller novels, like Old Man and the Sea and Notes from the Underground.

Fucking great read, smooth as a bottle of 12 year old scotch and kept me interested till the end.
