This is the part where you can give me critique and post things I should be on the lookout for future art.

EDIT: If I can even call THIS art. Ugh.

the sketches are pretty sloppy but the digital piece is much better. it's cute, but it's a little stiff. i think the poses could have been more interesting. don't be afraid to be a little looser if it means you can be more creative with your posing. i'd also not do full outlines around body parts, like the guy's front arm. it looks like he's a flannelgraph/tweenimation character with assets instead of a drawing.

the biggest challenge people seem to face is keeping the lively look of their sketches and translating it successfully into a final piece. i don't know what your process is , but i think even in the sketch phase you could be more bold. try some unique action poses  or poses with movement in them. look up reference or base it off a pose that you like and tweak it as you see fit.

Any advice on loosing?

try doing some gestures (30-60 second poses) when you life draw

my best advice as of now is draw draw draw until your fingers fall off. draw many characters/emotions

if you have a sketchbook, use as much of it as you can and avoid leaving too much white space, not just because this does justice to the paper, it also creates the habit of measuring your practice properly. once youve got a lot of drawigs, post them. that way itll be easier to tell you how to improve.... all i can see here are 4 images

i agree with rtil on the digital piece though

you really have to push yourself and it's a slow process. your human forms are grossly oversimplified, i feel like you're doing this because you don't understand the human form and are intimidated or afraid of it. you need to do life drawing and study anatomy and facial structure.

then again, sorry for that question
