i think this calls for a STATUS REPORT

at first they told me that tba was generating too many "spam reports", but it turned out they pasted the wrong suspension message to me

the real problem is that apparantly i'm hosting too many mp3's, which they claim is against their ToS. their ToS does state that hosting illegal mp3's is not allowed, however the directory in question is the public file dump - which you guys mostly use for uploading original content.

so instead i deleted the old tf2 jukebox folder which has 870 mp3's that we don't use anymore. if this is enough for them then that's the end of it. if it isn't, tba will be migrated to a VPS (virtual private server). the upside of this is that, well, tba will have its own server and i'll be able to do a lot more to the site. the downside is that it costs $30 more per month.

ok, that made them happy, so we're ok for now.

in the mean time, if there are any mp3's in your file dump you aren't using it would be helpful to me if you could remove them. you can upload mp3's still, just don't upload hundreds or i might get their attention again.
