my main beef with that podcast is that its very cliquey... its all the same people who are friends with each other... way to take a chance and go out and take a pulse of the flash scene.. ya know?

i can predict the next interview is with like legendary frog or somethin.

I've always wondered... im mostly a thread reader rather than a poster, but i've noticed like the hardcore almost cultist following on rtil and ive always been puzzled as to why people on the forum get more offended than prolly ryan himself..  meh i dunno, ive always been a firm believer that all publicity is good publicity. does it really ruin your day when people diss someone?

Hans' animation was lame as shit cause he ripped it.. but if someone had actually drawn his own shit and dissed me i'd actually find that pretty flattering that someone bothered to spend time to think about me even in a negative context...  rather than be outraged and pout about it.. is that wrong?

One of the more friendly topics ive ever seen on this forumm

I'm going through all the movies watching em all..  and not really thinking about em in terms of picking one but just watching... i have this utopian feel that 'the one' will grab me by the balls and say i pwn.

Today i watched composer, reinland and aladin
I guess im kinda biased on composer.. it just irks me cause complex issues like that dont resolve so easily.. and if they do why werent mine resolved (lol).... i dont like it when serious movies just 'work out' in the end... i didnt sit outside my porch and cry all day..  i didnt cry at all.. i just grew up with a chip on my shoulder.  I digressss

reinland was pretty good. The characters were more memorable than composer and the technique was pretty good.  I am heavy on typography and i found interrupting the animation with that part III engaged shit was distracting and didnt add anything to the movie. I also dont like credits that drag deep into the movie.. Dont be fancy just present your credits and get to the movie.

Aladin, good movie. I like how unusual it is in its setting and time period. Filters are kind of problematic on some parts and a few parts are georgeous and some look very rushed. I think so far that one is the best of the bunch. at the end of the movie i felt like i wanted ot know more about that futuristic middle eastern setting.. where as reinland i didnt really connect with the whole anthill thing after the aftermath...

meh wanted to share that outside of newgroundzzz so i picked this place.  i wish store of khale was on the panel

I didnt like the monthlies this month either.. i think like tom or whomever needs to devise some sort of system where like if for example my movie wins pico day then it cant win a monthly.. it seems unfair for there to be these sort of bottlenecks and monopolies when theres a contest and monthly running simultaneously and the same thing wins monthly, halloween contest, madness day etc etc etc .. give someone else a chance to bask in glory....   if staff entries can pass the prize down to next of kin so should movies that have already been in the winners circle for something else..

thoughts..

it was good

I liked the yuyu better... i think the pacing feels more comfortable and it runs better.

I never really got into the brackenwood series though, i dont really like the storybook-like theme just as i dont like science fiction stuff. Personal taste.  I like more urban/crude themes

I do prefer it over something like xombie though cause hes doing his thing and not like commercializing it all over the place. Still feels like it has Adam's soul.  I cant say that anymore about James' series.

I did like that he rehashed over old characters and reintroduced em. This felt like a comfortable episode..

stop shunning me im newwww...

Anyway i poke around the forum from time to time.. im just a lurker and never bothered to make an account.

I suppose i took a greater interest in rtil's work from his martyr-like attitude to 2d animation...  i like people doing things for the love of the artform. Anywho.

ya.

You should get back to makin animations Ryan, your hateness for this and that and the whole downvoting bizness is so middle school and fruitless.  I think youre above all that shit.

*shrug* I'm glad i never got into the whole portal scene.

I do hate Andrew K tho. arrogant prick.

Oh ya im new. HAI
