all the characters i drew separately so i need to resize some of them.
and yeah, i figured since the room isnt that big that there wouldn't need to be a lot of depth. the girls playing chess can definitely be bigger, so could the television maybe

I know some guy who works at a pharmacy and he swipes all these drugs to make even better drugs.

i imagine that even if drugs were legalized we'd have this same problem. some idiot will try to do every single drug at the same time or combine them into some super drug which will probably be banned, then years down the road we'd be faced with the same issue but with a different series of drugs.

half of the time the excitement of doing a drug is because it's illegal and you aren't supposed to be doing it.

it may just be me but the depth seems a bit strange. i cant quite put my finger on why.

i feel the same way
the angle looks weird to me, i'm not sure what it is or how to fix it though.

i had a roommate my freshman year who was extremely overweight and disgusting. i'm not a clean-freak, but i like to be able to have a sense of where everything is without shuffling through everything or smelling rotting stuff.
her diet consisted of milk, celery, and i shit you not, an entire wheel of cheese. she'd bring one home like every three days and just eat it throughout the next two days. anyways, she'd usually misplace the last bits of a cheese wheel, glass of milk, or whatever, and it'd start rotting somewhere. i cleaned up whatever i could find. she dropped out halfway through the year for whatever reason.

whelp, up until last year i had literally never heard a single one of madonna's songs, and i had no idea what she looked like.
thought she was black.
for eighteen years.
i finally found out the truth when i had to buy my roommate a magazine and madonna was on the front cover.

that's probably the most out of touch i've ever felt.

There is actually. Before he first met Willow he killed a bunch of teenagers with his sawed off antler 'accidentally'.
He's supposed to be a different species of people that live on a separate continent, and his whole family hated him because he didn't have fawn legs like them, only the antlers. So when he immigrated to America, some teenagers kidnapped him as a joke and were being racist so out of self defense and fear he ended up killing them. The public was outraged by it, but Willow, who was famously beautiful, rich, and powerful at this point saw him as someone she could use to her advantage so she saved him and ran a campaign to keep him out of jail.

Dear is an imaginary friend I had when I was younger. He had one antler and sawed the other one off in a dream I had. He usually isn't a very unhappy guy, this picture is of him after he met this chick named Willow, another imaginary friend I had that was a beautiful woman who could turn herself into a wood statue. Well she didn't really turn herself into one, but she'd walk about five steps then freeze into a wooden sculpture against her will. Anyways it turns out she was a power hungry bitch and ended up brainwashing Dear. I had a lot of weird dreams about them which I kinda mashed into a plot. Their whole story line together is actually pretty tear-jerking. The end of them came when I had one dream where Dear was trying to escape some police or something because Willow and him were trying to take over the world (and in this world Willow was literally the only attractive woman left on earth because she killed anyone more attractive than her. Actually Willow has a really horrifying back story that I'll go into later (maybe). Anyways,) and Dear ran into this big field, and at this point in their lives Dear absolutely hated Willow and she was completely in love with him (at first it was vice versa. though she was more of a mother figure for him. but he banged her a lot.) and he ends up being blown up. Then Willow confronts her ghost in a mirror after she's devastated from seeing her love being torn apart in front of her and ends up killing herself I think. Either the ghost in the mirror taunts her until she kills herself or the ghost in the mirror actually kills her. I forget which, but anyways, I'll make it a comic or something.

Willow used to live in the mirror until she met a little girl around 14 years old, who had a lot of self loathing problems, and seduced her and manipulated her until she took over her body and left the girl in the mirror to grow old. So in the end the girl in the mirror is old and frail and looks hideous.

also willow's leg in that picture is horrible and i tried to fix it and failed and now i refuse to keep trying.

another elementary school i went to had some horrible teachers. i had one who would legitimately make fun of me in front of my class. i would lose my pencil pretty frequently so she thought it would be funny to duct-tape one to my desk on a string. she also flipped my desk one time and told me to clean it up, and i actually forget why. one time my mom came to my class to give me something and she would be like, "oh~~ stuart your girlfriends here!" so yeah, she was a total bitch.

the turkish school i had to go to was full of idiots and teachers who make fun of you. There was this really fat guy named Dr. Donovan, but got mad if you called him anything other than Dr. D, would eat half a stick of butter for lunch because it "boosted his immune system", claimed he wrote a book which me and a few friends later looked up and it turns out he didn't even write it and has no degree of any kind. he would openly call girls whores, and once when I came into class he said something like "youre getting far too skinny like a stripper. eat something or ill send you to the nurse". I wasn't alarmingly skinny, i just wasn't obese, which i guess he considered normal. he ended up getting fired for telling kinds how to smoke marijuana and where to get it and spending his hours teaching making kids make powerpoints titled "flowers & fun", or something about food.

and thats one teacher of the many i knew who were fired in my years at that school.

also being a small private school they didnt have many electives and their art program was a joke. i was the best artist of a school of about 300 kids, and i sucked - but i thought i was good because there was no one there to challenge me. then i went to art school and everything changed

oh god, i almost got into a rich private school when my mom came into a lot of money. i ended up going to a turkish charter school instead though.
dunno how she picked one from the other.

but writing your own textbook? not sure if that sounds like a brilliant technique or a horrible one.

did anyone else go to really strange schools when they were younger?

i had a history of going to some really weird schools and i was transferred around a lot.
the one i remember most was called Treetops International, and it's basically a k-12 hippie school in a forest in the middle of no where.
it sounds cool now but as a kid it was pretty terrifying. a lot of teachers got fired, one committed suicide, and the principal went crazy so thats why i got taken out. plus the education was horrible.

but they had a room full of jars of animal fetuses. there was a baby horse in a jar named clunky and a baby shark in a jar named stumpy.

we also had 'dangerous animal' drills where in case of bears or wolves we would stay locked in the classrooms for some short period of time.
