I was away when this game came out so you'll have to excuse me.

It's a newish game from a Danish independent game company:

I finished it today and it was very good. Hopefully it will be released on the PC soon so more people can play it.

QuoteLimbo was released on 21 July 2010 on the Xbox Live Arcade service as the first title in the yearly "Summer of Arcade" promotion. Though the ESRB had listed entries for Limbo for the PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows  platforms, Playdead has confirmed that this was a mistake on ESRB's part, and that they have no plans for the game on these systems. Part of their decision to not release for the Windows platform was to avoid issues with software piracy, something they could control on the Xbox 360, according to producer Mads Wibroe.
I highly doubt it'll ever release on the PC and it's unlikely to get a PSN release.  It's one of the only 360 exclusives I want really badly.

like a vinyl toy, a tamagotchi, and fosters home for imaginary friends all had an orgy and gave birth to a puzzle game

Holy fuck. It took 4 years to make this extremely short game?  It's so short that in X-Play's review, Adam Sessler started off the review by saying he has had bowel movements long than this game. >_> They really should have designed the game for more systems to increase profits.
