are you seriously goin all the way down there just for voodoo donughts when we've got top pot, mighty o's and daily dozen? although, besides bacon on a maple bar, i've never seen some of those flavors before. but i have heard they're really good - but good enough travel all the way to boring old portland?
well ive already been to different places this summer like crazy i went to amsterdam, zwolle, utrecht, twello, vaassen, den bosch (just cities in holland) and i went to some other cities in germany: frankfurt, hamburg and kassel
I am going to die.
i dont go on vacations.
I went to Santa Cruz hung out at the beach, then went to the boardwalk carnival thing they have there. Then drove to Monterrey and went to the aquarium and watched Jelly fish and Sea Otters. Also caught a whale watching tour in the Pacific Ocean with the most insane captain and saw 3 Humpback whales (holy shit that is scary to see a wild animal bigger than your boat next to you in an open ocean and literally knocking you around like a floaty toy ).

AWESOME. AND SCARY. I can only imagine how huge those humpback whales are up close!
I'm going to Las Vegas again! Since I'm not 21 yet, I usually just sightsee, meander about, and watch shows (depending on our budget), especially Cirque du Soleil shows. There's always something new whenever I go there, like, it's different every 1-2 years.
I want to finally watch Lance Burton before his final show in Vegas, but like a lot of magic shows, he's expensive to watch.

like the art supplies company?
my friend's dad has let her bring some friends along to his villa in mercia (spain) so that's where i'll be going. so we're only really paying for flights + food. its right at the ass end of august
no idea what's there or what we'll be doing though

Haha yeah apparently we are not supposed to get that close and he misjudged the position the pod would surface. The boat almost went completely sideways from the whales "tiny bump". And one guy lost his nerve and barfed as a result of that :T
Also, Las Vegas is fun!! Lucky! :] See the show called "O" if you can, or "Love" those two are the most amazing I think. But yeah tickets for anything even the magic is pricey blah. And DONT see the magic show by a guy named Chris Angel. Me and my family went to it because it was cheap and thinking we would see cool magic stuff but all he did was like disappear and reappear 5 times and then did coin tricks wtf. He also messed up on a trick and you could see the wires haha it was bad.
So beautiful HNGBLEHHH!!!!

lmao i love that picture
i'll probably be going to cedar point up north, but that's about it.
cedar point is awesome. I went there with a few friends last summer
Quote from: CVGI went to Santa Cruz hung out at the beach, then went to the boardwalk carnival thing they have there.
my parents grew up there and i used to visit there a lot when my grandma still lived there. she had a house right next to the beach. the boardwalk is cool. they have a lot of fair food, like fried twinkies with chocolate and strawberry sauce. oh god

I really, really shouldn't be excited about the near death experiences of others, but no one else can say they've been THAT close to whales! I'm envious!
I LOVE "O"! It's amazing! Oh gawd, you have no idea how happy I am right now. There's practically no one I know online who watches Cirque shows, in part 'cause they're flippin' expensive. I give you an e-hug. ::huggles::
I haven't seen "Love" before, so I'll see if I can watch that! "Believe" is Cirque + Chris Angel and I'm tempted to watch it because the stage, costume, and artistic design of almost anything Cirque du Soleil is pretty and it's cheap (haha), but now I'm having second thoughts...
Thanks for the heads up!

I thought it got kinda old after a few times. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love the place! It's where I was first introduced to DDR, but after riding the Millennium Force 10+ times... you know?
Ix: Omg that picture HAHA! No we were not as lucky, our guy barfed right there in the cabin all over the dock and then missed the bucket and just continued all over himself. X[ but yeah the whales were coool
Rtil: Thats cool! I would have visited my Grandma all the time :b Yeah I saw that deep fried Twinkie...I was the only one in my family to chance it and eat one haha. It's actually tastes very good! But god I feel like you can only eat one in your whole lifetime. I can still feel its unnatural cancer causing chemicals in my bloodstream. The NEW item there was a cheesecake dipped in chocolate, deep fried then wrapped in a pancake burrito with a scoop of ice cream on top <--Gah I stayed far away from this thing haha.
Hnilmik: Thanks! *hugs back* But yeah between the two, try to see Love. Really it's awesome and you benefit from the seats further back as you can because they do some high acrobatics and lights shows with flying mermaids and bubbles during "I am the walrus" that fly up into those areas and you wouldn't catch them if you're in the upfront seats. Also it has some insane carnival "steam punk" machines popping out of the floors and stuff ha-ha. "Believe" did have some Cirque, but the dances were subpar and mostly squatting and head rolling with a rabbit mask on and some stomping. Most of the cirque stuff in that one was five backup dancers doing a skit while they set up the next trick and it really looks added on to be honest.
yeah anything deep fried is gonna kill you and nowadays i have a weaker stomach i can't even think about eating one even though it'd be so delicious

Now I REALLY gotta see "Love"! Thank you so much for your input and seating advice too! ::hugushibushu's::
Possibly might go to Detroit. I highly doubt it.
