i wear flipflops until the arrival of winter when i enter into hibernation
Depends what I am doing. If I run, I'll usually tie them a bit tighter nothing worse then having a shoe fall off while running.
My shoes can hardly withstand the places I walk, the bottoms get torn and then water always gets underneath and ruins my
socks. Then I get blisters.

Recently I've been wearing slips because its unusually warm but at other times I wear boots that only need zipping or slipping into.
My only laced pair of shoes are converse, and I tie them up each time I wear them because I hate the feel of my shoes slipping.
usually i just leave them tied, but if I'm going to run or something like crabarms said i tie them a bit tighter to keep them on my feet.
I tie them once every couple of weeks because I do what dilly does.
I tie them everytime i put them on, just to make sure.
I used to tie a square knot and then two loops because I thought it would hold longer, but my regular shoes kept falling apart just months after buying them, and I'd be left walking around in the rain getting my feet soaked. Now I just wear a pair of boots with zippers on the sides and save myself a little trouble.
YES i always tie them
