here ya can discuss the last season about lost or lost in generally or w/e man
well this is the last week this wednesday and sunday they gonna air the last 2 episodes plus some bonus shit
i actaully im pretty excited about this and yesterday i saw this video of jim kim
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8JBYlNTf-Q
edit:oops i posted this in the wrong place ....
yeah i'm pretty excited
the season had a rough start but it looks like the ending's shaping up to be quite good
true also the most recent episode about the MIB and J could have actually been executed way better (imo))
i stopped watching around season 3, what have i missed apart from them travelling back in time and then back and jacob gettin killed and the smoke monster turning into locke
the island is magic
John Locke dies.
yeah aside from that useless kate-centric episode it was definitely the worst of the season
the only upside was getting to see more the totally titus welliver

i liked the frozen donkey wheel explanation, but i honestly would have preferred that the nature of mib and jacob's relationship (excepting what their roles are, why mib can't kill jacob, etc.) be left ambiguous
seeing them as whiny kids kind of kills the mystique that made the two characters so interesting
i'd rather get concrete explanations about characters like walt, hurley, and miles
the show is called lost because no one watching it ever knows whats going on

no ones ever thought of that one before!
or maybe if you haven't been watching this since the very beginning then it won't make a lick of sense
if you have been watching since the beginning and have been able to keep up with it then good 4 u
see point A
well yeah

lost sure is wacky
the heart of the island is donkeys
lma
man this episode was nice just one more episode left also i think the ending will probably end as a loophole cause jack took jacob's job over and when he first came to the island (crashed) didnt jacob said that he was like just behind of the heart?
its over
Quote from: Old-Manits over
good riddance
i give the ending a generous F-
lmao worst 'twist' ever
my god that ending
6 years of waste im so glad i never watched it
nah it was a good series overall with a mediocre finale
i liked it, but the "oh this alt universe is purgatory and i'm dead" made me cringe
the showdown with locke was nice, jack's death was great and the throwbacks to old episodes and characters were all really nice touches, but i'm still disappointed by the fact that the writers just seemingly dropped so many of the elements that they built up in earlier seasons
if they had skipped the flashsideways in this season it would have been pretty neato
and that is why prison break > lost
that ending:
HAHA ARE YOU SERIOUS
Quote from: J_Seedmy god that ending

jesus christ how many times does the fat guy say 'dude'
his name is hurley and hes the third jacob and i will not stand for this
i have to agree with kian clearly most of you guys never took the time
to watch all the episodes or did watch it but overlooked some small important things
and yes there was no huge plot twists in the last episode ofcourse not its the last fucking
episode what did you expect some weird shit coming out of the islands ass? fuck it
the episode was a satisfying episode to end a show with
and also i again have to agree with kian: "just the thing that made lost wonderful: the characters"
from the funny fat guy who always says "dude" to the burt reynolds lookalike with sarcastic remarks to the badass outlaw with a heart etc.etc.
also how did a polar bearz get in da island xP
the characters may have made it 'wonderful' but the
heaven/purgatory
thing was completely gay
i do applaud the writers for keeping the island a mystery though, at least the finale wasn't 'ok the island is this. it was made because blah blah blah. this is here because this happened, that is here because that happened, and the donkey wheel was made by jesus, and the island is God's experimental Eden II'.
although i'm indifferent to this show i thought the fact that some things actually couldn't or were never explained pretty appealing, it lets you put your own interpretation into things. this is why the electromagnets were gay. time travel is dumb and you shouldn't explain it with electro fucking magnets, christ that shit was worse than the nanomachines in metal gear
I liked it better when it was called Gilligan's Island
I am 99% sure that they were making shit up as they went along and had no idea how to end it until the last season

cinder block on a racetrack
What was the creepy cabin about?
but then his bro took his crib
jacob always seemed like kind of a douche

billy's right. i read an article about this where lostpedia interviewed david fury (which is some writer for season1, most notable the first john locke flashback episode)
for example: remember those annoying whispers in the first season, those whispers were supposed to be "the others" the writers actually wanted the others to be more like animals.
They were supposed to be the Others, lurking in the jungle. At that time, we hadn't yet settled on what the Others would be. Since they were undefined, I had imagined they were going to be more feral, gone native... One might say "Reaver-ish." (I wouldn't, but one might.) I just didn't imagine they were going to be spirit-gum, fake beard wearing, boat driving, faux hillbillies... as done in the season finale. My bad. http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Lostpe...view:David_Fury (http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Lostpedia_Interview:David_Fury)
if you couldnt tell from watching the show that the writers were making shit up as they went along
you must be really dumb
i mean hey it was a somewhat entertaining show and all but it was obvious that most of the mysteries were tacked on and half-assedly explained years later
listen, i KNOW for a fact the writers had it all planned out from day one. how do i know this you ask? find out on the next episode":
