did anyone watch the pilot for this right after south park? the animation style is pretty reminiscient of augenblick. it takes place in manhattan in a world where all different types of creatures live in society (zombies, robots, weird deformed humans, etc). the main character is a lazy social worker who's dating a literal spawn of satan. decent pilot, it seems worth watching so far

yeah i caught this. it was pretty good despite having a rather bland "everyman" lead. animation is great too.

I liked it, thought it was pretty funny and the show seems to have a lot of room to grow. Also love Augenblick's animation, so fucking fluiddd

i didnt really like it but then again i havent seen a whole episode so f

its alright for now but i think as it goes on itll progressively get better

I like it so far.

it was alright. I kinda liked it

i just watched the pilot and it looks interesting, but 80% of the jokes were really lame.
i think tv pilots are kinda bad in general tho, because they're always going to crazy lengths to get the viewer hooked
i hope this gets better. i actually really like the idea

Watched it, and I liked that first episode haha. Hope it continues, it will probably get even better. Also, Augenblick studios is awesome.  I'm glad they got picked up for something new (probably because of the sucess of superjail which I adore as well).

Oh yeah wanted to dust off this thread to mention Ugly Americans has been picked up for an additional 7 episodes in October. Cool because the show seems to have improved a ton in comedic timing since the pilot.

Yeah the show looks way awesomer now.

i dunno ive seen a few episodes and it just seems like a lame animated sitcom to me

i dont really find it that funny, i just like the characters (except for the wizard and the brain thing)

It seems like the kind of show that could definitely hit a stride and become excellent if the creators have time.
As of now its about Daria-level. "Pretty OK"

yea it definitely has the potential

i like the style a lot so thats enough for me to tolerate the boring parts
