say you lose what's most important to you; all your friends, or all of your money or all of your talent or a girlfriend/boyfriend or whatever. kill yourself or no

nobody can just do whatever they want that's stupid moral relativist bullshit

there are things that you can't do and there are things that are usually a bad idea

if you dont think YOU should kill yourself, that means that you think that NOBODY should be able to kill themselves

i mean we're all equal in regards to morality so if it's bad for you to commit suicide then nobody else can do it either

a more appropriate topic title would have been 'would you kill yourself if'

it doesn't address the 'moral permissibility' of it at all

a lot of people think that when they lose something (love relationship/money/job/etc) that is sort of the end of the world for them

but thats not entirely true
Imagine someone comes to you saying he lost everything on the wagers and now is planning to kill himself.
well, ask him this
¿are you still healty?
¿can you still work?
¿can you manage to get it back someday?
if wise, that person can realize that he didnt lose everything, he just lost his money

I know what it feels like to be really really fuckin depressed but i think suicide is the cowards way out.

the only way i would kill myself would be if i was surrounded by a fookin million zombies and I only had one bullet left. (if I had more bullets i would use everybullet to shoot zombies and then save the last one for myself)

if you know
zombies existed

chill out bro i didn't say anything about moral relativity or that i wouldn't kill myself because it's 'bad'
i wouldn't kill myself because i have too much shit i want to do and too many things i enjoy. unless i lost literally everything, i want to live
i meant that i'm not gonna pass judgment on whether or not someone ELSE wants to live. if they've actually given thought to it and considered the implications and tried to enjoy life some other way, i'm not against suicide, for example in some countries legalized suicide for the elderly is becoming a reality, and i'm in favor of that
killing yourself on a whim or because you lost your job or some shit is a dumb idea, though

i do sort of agree that we;re conditioned to believe that suicide is horrible terrible (and in a lot of cases it is)

and actually i cant imagine when it would be a good/responsible thing to do
