Thats it right there. Eventually when I have to I will purchase some server space and pay for a domain. Right now though, its on the personal space my school allows me for free. I plan on working on it a lot while I'm here and transferring all the HTML code over when I'm done. So I know some fundamental HTML stuff now! I feel pretty accomplished. Still dont know how to do forums, Java, or much of the interactive shit but it's a start!

If you're going to make it full screen, just do it in flash.

i disagree, i think it looks fine and i think sites that rely on flash are clunky and bad for web standards.
in your css, add this:
img { border:none; }
it will get rid of the ugly line around your image links.
For your content link, you can use this.
<a href="mailto:sethg2@umbc.edu">text</a>
I think that something very positive about your website is that it keeps things simple
a lot of websites/art portfolios have sometimes way too many links/shit that doesnt really add anything to the site
your site simply makes me want to go and click so I can see what youve done
Yea I figured Id keep it simple I mean for people interested in my stuff, why should I make it difficult on them? Wanted it to be visual but simple.
And thank you Rtil I was tryin to figure that out. It doesnt show the borders in Safari for some reason but when I looked on Firefox I noticed em.
And thanks Rob that is a useful little tidbit too!
I was debating on adding doodles on the background of the website, like on the notebook. I figured I already have my links shaded with a background but I was wondering if itd make it look too busy.
That's pretty Cool Dr. Money
tbh I kinda like the background the way it is
I really like the simplicity of your site. I hate getting lost in blogs and stuff with a bajillion things to dig through just to get to the pictures.
looks good. dunno if you'd wanna spice up the background a bit with a few 'doodles' or whatever. as long as they're not that distracting they should look nice
also lmao why have i never seen this zelda flash before
looks nice. i dont think you need to add doodles. the drawing under you name is enough imo
*update*
Got it ready to show off for an internship application.
