I got his autograph and it was scary as fuck because he didn't speak English and he looked exasperated at lots of smelly otaku talking to him in English about how much they like cowboy bebop.

I've spoken with 2 celebrities. They were both at the animation festival In Ottowa.
One was (https://thebackalleys.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bitterfilms.com%2Fcropped1.jpg&hash=5a6f7b1b355ad93fb98cf481fb97e771839f4afe) Don hertzfeldt on 2 occasions. I was at his interview and retrospective presentation. There was a Q&A, and I simply HAD to go up and make a fucking fool of myself. I asked "If I give you a glass of water, will it turn to wine, and upon drinking, will I become more awessome?" He said to save that for the afterparty (which I couldn't attend because I'm not fucking 19 yet >.<). After that I asked a serious question about his style and if changing to a more complex maybe computer-assisted approach would be a good foretelling. I forgot his answer. I think he derailed the topic after a bit. Then a passing and few-second chat as he signed my canadian 5 dollar bill and dvds. He's cool in person I'd say.
Next was (https://thebackalleys.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.diretodehollywood.com%2Ffotos%2Fhenry-sellick.jpg&hash=5d8389a1e7194d267c9a76bb860fb72dc6add78f) Henry Sellick. I met him in the bathroom washing my hands. I recognized him like some asshole fanboy (not freaking out or anything, just saying to myself, 'oh, henry sellick') He was friendly! "hey! what's your name!" I just said Marc. He asked for my last name but I said he definitely wouldn't remember it. (You try remembering hundreds of fans, especially one named Klopfenstein). After that I went to se $9.99, a british stop motion about the meaning of life. It was really interesting and had some good animation. I was sitting right fucking next to henry sellick. I thought it would be too rude to ask him to sign anything and I didn't start my canadian 5 of signatures idea, so fucking no signature for me, but it was fucking awesome sitting next to a stop motion master director watching a great movie like that.
I never spoke to him and he never saw me, but I got my canadian 5 also signed by (https://thebackalleys.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jimhillmedia.com%2Fmb%2Fimages%2Fupload%2FEric-Goldberg-Comic-Con-Sig.jpg&hash=d6eb199a06db9e38ebce027468de0e31ef8c3263) Eric Goldberg. I asked my friend who was first in line if I could get his signature at ottowa's showing of princess and the frog clips. As she got to him she asked to sign the 5, and he reacted, "what the hell, why!? umm okay then, here you go." which made me laugh.
I never saw or spoke with any celebrities other than at the 1 festival I went to. lolImaLoser.

:>
Fame is relative, evident by the exclusion of "Internet celebrities".
I've mostly met a bunch of recognizable voiceovers, but you guys probably wouldn't know who any of them are unless I said "Rob Paulsen voiced for Pinky from 'Pinky and the Brain' and Yakko from 'Animaniacs'." Then there're performers like Ray Romano and Doris Roberts from "Everybody Loves Raymond", Wanda Sykes (comedienne), and Faith Hill (singer) who work around the LA area whom I've met during tapings and class events.
xx; After meeting so many "celebrities", I guess it's not so huge of a deal anymore once you figure out "They're just people who made a name for themselves doing their job".

Owen Wilson almost hit me with his car when I was a kid.
When I was older and he came back into town again. I put a shit load of ping-pong balls into his car's gas tank at the dead of night.
I went to a Foo Fighters concert, I picked up one of the drummer's sticks (After getting clobbered with it in the forehead) Then, we were waiting to see the band, outside, but they hauled ass, and made it on their bus before anybody got to them. Suddenly, a security guard invited me onto the bus! I met David Grohl! I was about 9, and pretty freaked out. I just tried to play it cool, and it was pretty badass.
