I'm pretty sure it's a neurotic issue, meaning that the impulses your brain sends out when walking can't be safely transmitted to your body, but the impulses it transmits when running, can be, because they go to different nerve ends or something.

the vaccine is available for every american 'in risk'. but many people in the medical profession aren't interested in getting one, and obama has chosen to not even to vaccinate his daughters. most people flocking to get one have bought into the fear of swine flu, even though far more people have died from common flu strains this year, by about ten to one.
the only thing stupid about this is the ridiculous H1N1 hype. the vaccine does
not guarantee protection from the flu, and if you get it your risks of dying are next to zero.
