Personally I enjoyed this film a lot but I don't think many kids will like it. Most of the audience in my theater were adults anyways.
The movie is about being a kid so it's not something that kids will be able to relate to. I only saw one kid in the entire theater.
For the people who are fans of the book should go and see it, I think the movie was pulled off really well especially being based on a 9 sentence book.

I cried for the last 5 minutes.   I loved the voice acting it seemed to realistic for the characters. made me almost forget they were imaginary.

i'm probably not gonna see it because i don't watch movies that aren't rated r, but i can say that my song about taylor bortner (the final word) is actually a bit misleading because wac is REALLY gay esp. compared to taylor bortner who until WAC was the king of faggotry. WAC really takes the crown

I completely forgot about this thread. >_> As for why I thought the film looks horrible, I based my opinion off of some movie poster and some review that bashed the hell out of the film. Since I figured that was a poor way to judge a film, I just watched this trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NOkQ4dYVaM) and the movie still looks awful to me. In fact, it looked so bad that I laughed for at least a minute straight over how horrible it was. <_<

What I mean is that some of the movie looks bad from what I have seen but that I'm not 100% sure if it is bad because I haven't watched the actual film.
