Title: The Rise of a Mortal Artist
Post by: MortalArtist on October 4, 2009 03:01 AM
Since I've acquired a new set of skills, thought I'd make a new thread. This thread is about me, defining my own style. Critiques, comments and advice are more then welcome.

The body could be better defined from the background with more contrast. Using black to define shapes helps and is more interesting then just using it to outline. Or cross shading in a light source will make the figure stand out better ...as it is right now I cannot make heads or tails if that swirling organic thing in the back is the body attached to the head from the side or if the long object is a body with no arms and a mass is behind it.
