ART / RESEARCH PROJECT
Recently, I've been drawing in my art class at school and i was thinking, "how can I be a better artist"? Then it came to me, "Why don't I make a big picture of some sort with many details?" When i got home, i decided to make this into a art research project.
For this project, I'll have to research things like figure drawing, dynamic poses, and background drawing. I'll also print stock images and re-draw them to hone my skill. Every Saturday, I'll go to the library to look up pictures of forests of cities and draw them. On top of that, when i get the chance, I'll try to draw from life. From that information and knowledge, I would draw the "big picture" I was talking about.
This project will take a lot of work and effort from my part and will probably take multiple weeks, or even a month to finish. I hope for this the be a worthwhile experience for me.
SCHOOL
It's been a few weeks since my senior year of high school started, and it's been going great! My Computer teacher is actually teaching us for once and I'm learning more about flash than I ever was. Many other classmates are learning how to use FL Studio, or Microsoft Excel. Not only that, but the school recently bought a copy of Photoshop CS4. It's all very neat!
my art class (at school, not the one i signed up for) is going good as well. I'm learning how to use watercolor paint. My art teacher is a very nice lady and I hope she teaches me more techniques over the course of the year.
Besides art and Technology, nothing else of that exciting or worthwhile. They're all the same mundane subjects you'd expect from a school.
all in all, this year will probably to the best one yet!
