you've improved a lot j. i love the sketches you did in pencil, just watch the ears. on some of the drawings the ears look a tad too high on the head.

also
when you draw a character, make sure you try to sketch him out naked before you add the clothing.
clothes (especially baggy clothes) make the human body look distorted, so if you draw the characters clothed without having drawn the basic body shape underneath, you're bound to run into some anatomy problems. for the dude in the 5th picture, just try drawing his body shape without the clothing and see if you can fix some of the anatomical issues

i absolutely love the tree and girl sketch, i didn't know you could draw so well. is that some kind of stream she's sitting in or is it just really tall grass? if it's the former, make it so the water doesn't look as violent because she looks like she's going to be carried away by the current.

Hmm You should do some sort of mountain backround to create a depth within the landscape. Personally you should make the trunk in the bottom-left pop out more, maby make it a thicker outline?

i liked the sketch a lot more, the lines looked really soft. the lines in this version look kinda harsh, as if they were done with the line tool
if you're going to color it in, maybe you could go lineless instead

Yeah i just inked it so i had an idea on where to paint over
if i had used the sketch, it wouldn't be so clear to me as to where and what to paint over

also im taking away that godawful water and paint it alot better using art rage or something

the anatomy on the chick is really nice in some areas (head) and really weird in others (neck, arms). make sure your sketch is bang-on before rushing to inking

t-rex is looking gr8, you should exaggerate the body a lil more though. the head is awesome but his body is really plain

as it moves down the face begins to get larger

make sure you're stepping back from the canvas every once and a while to make sure the proportions are still matching
