I am currently developing a game, called Third Strike. Originally, I intended this game to be for the Power of Three (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1060106) event.

However, I think that this can be so much more. Not just a free charity game, but a profitable collaborative effort!

I already have a Voice Actor (http://fatkidwitajetpak.newgrounds.com/), and a Musician (http://nubbinownz.newgrounds.com/) on board. I am in need for about one or two more programmers and artists. More positions may be available, but only if necessary.

Here is the music for the first level. (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/240769) Other audio hasn't been fully completed yet.

Here is the node-based engine. (http://spamtheweb.com/ul/upload/220609/49339_NodeEngin.php) Click around, and hold down your mouse button for fun.

The programming tasks is to simply create various individual game-play engines, like the one above. All programming must be done in AS2 (Action Script 2)

The game ties in various game-play aspects into three levels, with an over-arching storyline I have planned.

For those who are willing to give a hand, I cannot guarantee rewards immediately, but I do plan on giving payment, as fair shares from all the profit and revenue received from the final product.

In response to your pictures, here's what I'll add in my game...

1. There will be elite men beating up red eye people. (If you choose Blue Shift campaign mode)

2. Your main goal (if you choose X-Shu campaign mode), is to blow up buildings, and setting them on fire.

3. I will add an overall badass theme to it. (For all modes)

Thanks, but the music I have is perfectly fine. It's also the music style that counts. I try to avoid guitars, rock, and lyrics because it's much too common. I go for ambient/ chill drum & bass.

I always thought that musicians on the internet commonly do drum & bass, but you opened my eyes. There are a lot more people on the internet who make ACTUAL music than drum & base, thank u

Trust me, I have taken into consideration all of your arguments.... and I don't see why I should change musicians. Here is my opinion:

1. I prefer drum and bass. I prefer a catchy beat over catchy lyrics. That's how I am.

2. Half of the music is already done. I am not going to change musicians mid-way.

3. Please, enough with the name-calling. It doesn't help your case in point.

Alright then, if you guys really want to make music for me, I have a test.

Whoever wants to join, make a song about teddy bears, which loops.

If I like it, I'll use it for an upcoming project (not Third Strike).

The main thing I'm judging is the beat, so make it catchy!
