i am making a flash that has a very large image tweening in the background
everything looks as it should in the .fla but when i export it to .swf the background is just a big red thing
how do i fix this thx !!
Make sure that the image in your Flash Library is up to date I guess. I had the same problem in an fla file once where everytime i scrolled up to see an image I imported, it crashed the program claiming it wasn't up to date.
what do you mean by up to date?
Well, you can try reimporting the image into your library.

flash isnt final cut. it doesnt link to the images in their original folder, it actually embeds them in the fla file itself. so i think the red box problem is just a glitch.
once you reimport you will also have to swap the reimported version with all the old ones
it is still just a big red thing when i export it to swf
why is flash so shitty
Send me the fla.
change the filetype of the image maybe, and then try again.
Is there any problem with the tween itself?
import it, right click and break it apart, and then tween it.

did not work but when i traced the image it was close enough thx
