apparantly

KFC has this online coupon promotion where you can get a free grilled chicken meal until may 19th

i\\\'m sure you can see where this is going

but it got even worse

opera promoted it on her show and had another coupon on her site for the same thing, so millions more people found out about it

turns out today there are thousands of KFC stores around the country with "WE DON\\\'T TAKE ONLINE COUPONS" plastered all over their doors

i think the weird thing is that people are leaving the KFC\\\'s if they can\\\'t redeem their coupons, even though it\\\'s a fast food restaurant and probably the cheapest chicken you\\\'ll be able to find

cuz i mean .. if you\\\'re in the mood for chicken, and you thought you were gonna get it for free, but have to pay $4 instead, that\\\'s really not so bad. cheapskates

i remember something like this happened with red lobster

why do people go to kfc anyway when Popeyes and Boston Market and Pollo Tropical are 30000000 times better.

A friend of mine had an Arby's coupon for a free burger with a drink. Thing was, Arby's distributed them by email as a jpg file-- no authentication required, and nothing to stop you from printing off hundreds of copies. I thought about putting a box of them outside the Arby's a mile from my house, but then it expired. I didn't even get to use the one I had

all the boston markets here went out of business

and popeyes tried this too - they also ran out of chicken halfway through the day

I hate when people come in with coupons, I bet we would have less than half the customers if they didnt drop any in the mailboxes
