anyway I think the first "successful" clones will have a lifespan of like a day because oxigen will be bad for them or something

If this guy actually does it, his lab will be shut down. There's no use for human cloning now that justifies the risks and moral quandaries involved. Cloning soldiers? You're creating people purely so they can kill others. Cloning the strong and the intelligent? You're creating a superhuman because you can. They included the quote from that creepy woman about resurrecting her dead daughter--the world isn't ready for that shit. I think cloning a human is something that will happen inevitably, but not now.

Its not the exact article where I read it but this is where sperm banks started (http://www.slate.com/id/101318/), an idea to increase the amount of smart people upon this world through genealogy.

i actually find cloning very selfish even if it's a nice gesture to bring back a loved one. they're not actually bringing them back, it's just merely a copy of someone who should have the respect of being the only one of a kind.

We would probably abuse these animals and extinct them again.

and since we could revive extinct animals people would be less considering about all species of animals under the excuse "we can revive them later" and... you know.

Always expect the worse out of science.
