well you guys, some of you know (about 3 people) that i make music. and recently been taking it seriously, getting into it more and more as each day goes by creating new songs and recreating some of my old songs.
i've just finished a new song, which is a remake of an old song from last year. i think i've found my style now, which most of you don't really seem to dig that much but i respect that, as not everyone enjoys the style.
if youd like to check out my new song, head to http://www.myspace.com/shaunmcglinn (http://www.myspace.com/shaunmcglinn) and add me if youd like!
all of my songs are up for high quality download over @ my site - http://www.revivaleyes.com/music.php (http://www.revivaleyes.com/music.php)
so feel free to download them, and tell me your favorites! most of the songs aren't like my newer stuff so you might like them
i'll just bump this topic up every time i add a new song, saves me from making a topic all the time like i used to do.
thanks, please do check out my songs out because i really appreciate any feedback, honestly.
it's not my kind of music but it's well produced and sounds good
oh wow someone replied, i didnt think anyone would haha
yeah i understand you aren't into it, but i appreciate what you said about how its produced and stuff a lot!
oh and thx for da add on myspizzle
pc4pc plzthtx;¬)

And I dont know much more than diddly shit about making music so good job it was good
ha thanks
finished a new song which is softer than my usual works.
its called "Held in High Regard"
listen sometime --- > http://www.myspace.com/shaunmcglinn (http://www.myspace.com/shaunmcglinn)
I like th intro to "cover up the obvious", the kicks in "Keep to ourselves" are dope, Currently liking "False Exoneration" the most.
Most of it is not my style or it dosen't really grab my atention.
Held in high regard is great. definitely my favorite out of them all
i think it would sound better if you replaced the vocals with other instruments, but it has a really nice melody overall
lol nice try at deathcore
thanks everyone. i wouldn't call it deathcore, rob. most of my songs have soft melodies in them after all the screaming and what not. people just tend to not listen to the songs all the way through.

Well I listen to a fair bit of metalcore and the thing that usually sets is apart from death is the ability to make out the lyrics. Now I know it was only about half the song with that stuff, but that was the impression I got from it.
pretty nic!!
its like BMTH just easier on the ears
haha thanks!
I really like the variety in your music, especially the diverse vocals. Kinda hard to describe what to call this since your songs have a lot of transitions and progression. Favorite song is Find Someone Else
But "deathcore" is the last word to describe this since that's a fake sub-genre that hardcore kids made up to look "original". Because everyone knows there's nothing more "original" than adding -core at the end of some random emphasized word
thanks Adam. yeah i like to create stuff that is a lot different to the usual. i myself don't really know how to label my music. if experimental / ambient / screamo were made into one genre name, i think that might be my genre. appreciate the feedback
Blordowcore
But seriously, as long as you sound different, which you do, that's all that matter. Can't wait for more songs
yoooooo uploaded a new song
'vile calamity'

adam you might be the only one that will like it
I wrote an acoustic song, i guess it shows i'm not limited to just fl studio composing. its sweeter than most of my stuff :}

i liked the song it was kinda shoegaze-y and i like that
yes it was a pain in the ass to make too. took me forever to get it working right. cheers, rtilio.
Make your bg image 1920px wide.
There's probably bigger reses than mine, but 1920 x XXX is becoming more and more popular.
I couldn't be bothered lmao
Yeah it's definitely not a big thing at all, but it's the kind of stuff I do all the time so I'm always picking apart people's work like an asshole.
haha in a way its kinda a good habit to have.
i love blordow and he "is Neat" but if he ever touches auto tune again i'm gonna fuck him until hes a pile of ash
