i actually did that in the menu for my demo reel dvd, it looked really cool. maybe i'll do that. i didn't know about mpg backgrounds

The only reson why I mentioned .mpg was because it seemed to be the most universal format (my OS also supports .wmv). I dont know about what formats are supported for video wallpaper on the Mac(Im guessing those also support .mpgs), and so far only Windows Vista Ultimate is Microsoft's OS that offically supports video wallpaper (everyone else can simply come over here (http://geocities.com/zNelson24/DreamScenetutorial.htm) and download a patch I found over the web).

Not sure if Microsoft is mimicking Apple or not, but yes there are irritating things about gadgets.

The sidebar is annoying (something that is being cut in Windows 7 ) and the CPU Meter gadget takes resources that are needed for resource intensive things (I have to close the sidebar before I start a game).

Hopefully, all these things will be worked out.

depends which skin/apps you use. HUD.Vision is a good way to clutter your desktop with totally worthless shit that no one could ever use, like all of your network settings and IP addresses and each CPU core, but there are a lot of others with legitimately useful stuff

The only thing I use it for is to connect my Laptop to my TV. It's just more convenient than going into the CCC and changing the number of displays.

Why is My Little Pony so popular right now?? I saw an episode and it's the most bland and totally safe cartoon I've ever watched.
