your style is really nice. I like how you add a lot of details/little items and stuff in the outfit of your characters

It sorts of makes them have a lot more personality I think.

Also you seem to have an obsession with disgusting fluids like vomit or "squid ink" and such

hehe nice design

you're falling into the same trap i did a few months back and drawing stuff from the same angle though. would be nice to see some more interesting angles and kinetic poses from you. maybe try holding back on the costumes till you get the poses down

main figure for my first big painting which is gonna be a self portrait.  i know this looks really light here because of the whit background and i plan to go back and darken some of the lines/shadows/facial features.  the background is gonna be very big and intricate, because i am a sucker for extreme detail.  

feedback of any sort would be much appreciated.

I wish i knew how to, i have so many movies filed away in my head, but sadly i lack the tools or the skill.  Animation is both alluring and daunting to me.  I want to try it, but i have the feeling that i would be very bad at it.  Plus the animation would never come out as nicely as the movies in my head which kinda disappoints me.

Here goes a big photography dump.  These are projects I have worked on in my course at the university.  I started out with a shit camera, 15 years old ran on mini-disks for Christ's sake, and could only hold 65 photos at a time.  I eventually transitioned to using a Canon G10 Powershot which I would check out on a daily basis from the art department.  Enjoy, hopefully.

I super-enhanced the tint of the lighting in  the images.  in the bathroom there are these nasty florescents, in my room i have a reddish light, in the dinning room there are big windows that let in this blue grey light.

i really like that drawing of moon, especially her eyes and that neato scepter, but there a few things that bother me
the main thing is that it doesn't look like you draw with any pen pressure. i think having more variance in the line width will give your drawing a lot more depth.

the folds you drew in the clothing and the shadows around them are confusing and dont really do a good job of showing that the fabric is 3 dimensional.

also i think you should also try different techniques to convey the furry texture of her shawl because the way you did it doesn't look good imo. also i think there should be shading on her feet

Yeah, I figured the character I made would be a kind of person who is pretty deadpan except for when they are angry, so I thought maybe just having him float in a slouch like a loser would convey his attitude.  Dunno if it worked.
