Title: To fall in love again
Post by: Daveb0t on March 9, 2009 10:12 PM
ok so I decided to make a sketch before I turned something into a full painting.  And is been a long long while since I used oil paint b
So then I decided to take the sketch further and further and its pretty much a finished product in itself; so I panicked
BUT THEN!

I decided to scrounge up some stuff to accompany it and here we go!

and theres definately some tone lost in scanning it, and I= havent wuiiiiiiii quite decided on a color scheme

and its not finished slash/ was put in 2h graphite

spaces

and now here is the shit that I've been doing for the past few months, basic studies and expiriments in shading, skeching techniques.... and ways to bring out emotion properly in gesturing and faces etc etc
In fact this and the thingies next are the very first ones I madebackwhen

just keep in mind that each line thingy is about a centimeter,m

I'm going to go over it once again to finish the clouds and little details, and then in a heavier lead to bring out some more contrast.

I'll post a few more big things sometime next week, I'm on the brim of finishing a large graphite, a big photoshop thing, and the layout for a watercolor portrait.  And I'm still expirimenting with the best way to photograph big stuff with my digital camera.
