i am a good contest moderator

There needs to be more than one judge, and someone non bias toward a person.
If people vote, say hammi enters and no one votes for him because they dont like him or something, then it's just a popularity contest.
I'd say there needs to be like, 3 judges maybe or someone who doesnt hate another member who enters that wouldn't be right ye.

I agree with J_Seed, thejudges need to be non-biased.  I think you and some mods should think who would be good judges for specific contests.  3 sounds like a good number.  We need to make sure to weed out people who are just judging so they can dick around.

it's unanimous on everything except who votes. i think the contest moderator is still a good idea, they usually picked out the true winners of the bunch. if there are a ton of entries in a contest, then i think letting everyone vote would fair.

make me a moderator and i will do what they do best, slacking.

votes without good explanations shouldnt be counted
like
there should be a topic for just the drawings, then, once the contest is over, a topic for just reviews of peoples favorite drawings
and each review should be in depth and different aspects should be judged
since something that is well-drawn isnt always necessarily creative

and if theres a tie it can go in to some drawing battle tiebreaker round between the two artists

also there needs to be a group of people who discuss and vote on good contest ideas that are creative but not too limiting

oh and to prevent one person like bizarrecube from winning every time, the person who won the last contest shouldnt be able to enter the contest right after that

why not just have it there as an excuse to be productive?

i like some of those ideas kian. but how about the person who last won can enter the next one, but can't win, and reviews for drawings don't have to be in-depth, but should at least provide a reason to go with them?

since if reviews were in depth there would be a lot less people who would take the time to do it
