the caricatures are really sweet
I'd work on your shading, establish a light source and figure out where the shadows would be instead of just slappin them on randomly for 'detail' (i used to do this too dont worry!)
But yeah good shading can make some pictures go from mediocre to great.

Yeah. I get this a lot. I will take it into account next time.

Oh one thing uuuh... I almost NEVER make sketches before making an actual drawing. Whenever I make sketches, I always end up changing the position or something and almost never follow the model. Is it really really important to follow a sketch? Just asking. I know plenty of you Do make a model first before making the real deal and I dont know if it really affects the outcome.
btw I made this eye thing. I know the teardrop thing is too big. Suggestions?

my suggestions:
1. get a tablet
2. try and have some line consistency. there's a lot of variation with your line weight.
3. if you don't zoom in already to draw, try it out, maybe 300% or more. your lines will turn out much smoother and consistent when zoomed back to original size.

All this stuff was made with an intuos 3.
Quote2. try and have some line consistency. there's a lot of variation with your line weight.
yeah It makes the works look ugly. Ill work on it.

Ill try it out. Sounds like a plan!
I made this yesterday too. but it´s paper not computer. Just experimenting perspective
[attachment=2544:DSC00071.JPG]
your style is really nice
also good go on the perspective thing, you should try a different way of shading though
try drawing parallel consistent lines lightly, either diagonal strokes or downwards and then additionally add more lines for stronger shading texture
I like your style. Look nice
Some more freaks here. pencil/pen

ur shit is trite
i think out of all these your ink work is the strongest
Quote from: rtili think out of all these your ink work is the strongest
thanks. I think so myself. I guess it just gives you more freedom than creating art in say, flash. but mabe thats just me
Its always really good to see someone improve as fast as you are, certainly beats the downers like me that take years to improve even a little. And your doing everything from caricatures to landscapes, i think thats pretty impressive.
Gerkinman???? WOW
It feels really awesome to read that coming from you
Thanks man!
I draw a little more things over the past 2 days
my keyboard is shit so bear with me if typos lke ths one apear
I think this one was gonig ok but I ruined it addng .....shading?..... in the nose

i know nobody cares but I made a couple more today
[attachment=2792:DSC00153.JPG]
[attachment=2793:DSC00151.JPG]
i love the first one with the guy and his gun. its probably the pants
second one is kinda confusing, the chair looks like its floating compared to the table
its still nice though
same as mishka pretty much
the first one is stylish
i like the table one because it actually looks planned out
the rest are kinda doodlish and 'freestyle'
its alright for doodles but your cartoons will be given a lot more form if you draw study lines first
I like the necks alot for some reason
if I were you I wouldn't change it unless you want to do it fdjlsldajjkfd
but yeah I agree lenka and the more you doodle the more you'll get better at it or the better you'll handle the technique
idk fdkdfjflkdkdfsfn
aaaaa
thanks for the comments guys.
I think I get what you mean with the study lines lenka. Ill take my chances more with them later.
I woke up at like 2 am yesterday and I couldnt sleep so I shitted these

Love your stuff Eman!
you're slowly developing a style, keep practicing
Bumped this topic once more with a bit more stuff.
I tryed to do diferent things rather than "goofy monsters" this time around.
Ive been studying realism a lot.

you're having some issues with proportion, anatomy and weight distribution. that girl would fall over if she were to suddenly come to life. try looking away from your canvas every minute or so to make sure the picture as a whole works, and not just the parts
yeah
stop thinking of making things peice by peice, even when sketching with pen make sure you can get the gesture and pose before filling it in.
i thought you were gonna change the arms of the girl
you guys are right. I do have the tendency to work on my drawings piece by piece.
Ill work on it next time, lets see what I can do.
Oh and Ill study a bit more that weight thing.
Quote from: Wasimi thought you were gonna change the arms of the girl
I tought It looked better like this
the joanna dark chick has a nice design but looks really flat! try envisioning her body parts as 3D shapes rather than 2D ones and your art will explode
also dont be afraid to use references to see how people keep their balance/how light casts shadows etc etc
