ansel i like your entry it's pretty cool
pubic hair burned to the paper?
eww
Aw, haha I love Swaine's accent in this thing. Really cool setup too, I love all of the drawings everyone did. Had I known they could that much more detail I totally would've thrown some color on to mine. Ah well, nice work everyone!

He sounded a bit like an italian, especially when he said "sketchbook tour twothousand and eight".

I agree with this.
Quote from: KirbopherHad I known they could that much more detail I totally would've thrown some color on to mine.
Whats that supposed to mean? No matter how good you do there will always be some better artist on the top, even in this project yes. Now you know.
Quote from: KirbopherAh well, nice work everyone!
I hope you liked my negro.
lmfao I loved the 2 names he didn't know how to pronounce that was nice.
since when is Sqeezy a TBA celebrity he doesn't even go here
I thought i saw his name somewhere around here some time ago. Oh well. Changed!
Added Jeinu to the list.
This is the first sketchbook tour I haven't been in. Luis never sent my page or it got lost, I have no idea.
My condolences rubba. Your last years entry was pretty cool, the style that is.

oh hey there
also I pronounce rtil's name like that, too.
Quote from: HammiMy condolences rubba. Your last years entry was pretty cool, the style that is.
I dislike my last years one because the cardboard square Luis gave us didn't work properly with a lot of artistic mediums. For instance, the copic markers I was using to colour it wouldn't dry properly. Was it actually paper this time?

Oh no no, I mean I thought it was just supposed to be a sketch, I didn't realize we could put more detail than that. I feel like because I just did a basic pencil drawing that it's not quite up to the same quality as some of the others. It's not a big deal, I still like how it came out, I just feel dumb for not being more aware. Ah well.
Sorry for the disinclusion Ross :[
mmm, good stuff
i'd like to be a part of the 2009 sketchbook

Yes, the same old brown paper just like back in '06. I dont remember the size of it though, it was quite small this time.

Lmfao ok cool. The whole deal with sketchbooks is that youre supposed to let everything out and just create, it doesnt necessarily mean you have to literally sketch things jeez. You can even paste stuffs in it. But yeah you can spice up your entry as much as you would like. Most mediums are allowed.
Quote from: michelleansel i like your entry it's pretty cool
yeah i loved that one too. i think it was my favorite

Next time, Gadget.
i don't even want to know how much postage it cost to put that together. but hey he's got a paying job so
he pronounced jeinu wrong
oh well
he pronounced a lot of names wrong
man i haven't seen chillyphilly in a while
Did he says yours correctly, like "artill"? That's how I usually say it but Anigen pronounces it like 8 different ways so I have no idea.
catoblepas.
artillo
I find it irritating whne people pronounce my username as Mag -Yar as in Magazine and Yar like a pirate. I know they don't know the right way to pronounce it but it irritates me all the same.
Yaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
How's it said, outta curiosity?
Well i always 'pronounced' rtil as something like "R'till" or ruttle or something stupid like that
anyways these drawings were fucking awesome
unfortunately my paper never made it back : (
Sucks to hear... depends on where you live and under what conditions your entry goes through.
Now, what are you favorites?
Damn it name some already.
I say it R-till as well, but I meant how to say Magyar's.
Hans was probably my fav overall. Also the one layed out like a tree with Tom Fulp at the bottom kind of "describing" NG. Don't remember the artist but that one was kinda neat.
Quote from: KirbopherDid he says yours correctly, like "artill"? That's how I usually say it but Anigen pronounces it like 8 different ways so I have no idea.
it doesn't really matter how it's pronounced anymore, but he said it in the most popular pronounciation
I accidentally pronounced your name as "artill" when i met Hans lmfao.
Quote from: KirbopherHow's it said, outta curiosity?
pronounced like mud-yar

what does luis do anyway?
I like how you can tell mine was just thrown together at the last minute... :/

Professional graphic designer
I think.
luis works at qwest, I believe. he's a CSS programmer or something
thanks guyz i personally HATE my picture but thank you. it was wierd to hear swain pronounce my name with that zzzzz kind of s sound, it's a much harder s in real life, like "France" but with an s instead of the c
I love MyNameWontFitIn's, Jazza's, Hammi's almost had me on the floor laughing, Swain's, Rtil's (I pronounce it Ar-Til), Poxpowers, etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting several I liked, but those popped in to my head first.
franzel
oh he works for qwest now that's good
cuz he used to work for aol
barf!
i pronounce rtil like this:

Fuckin shit. I didnt know you had an account here. Added!
Also, i do like your entry. Interesting. No really. Did you use stencil for the hand?
Quote from: SardonicSamuraiHammi's almost had me on the floor laughing
Haha glad i could be of any... service, whatever. Added to list. Im starting to get senile, like psi.
Cool entry, i suppose its you. Are those marker lines? Looks inked. Very simple but yet effective cross hatching too. I also like how youve hatched even the smallest corners with such precision. Awesome.
Quote from: HammiAlso, i do like your entry. Interesting. No really. Did you use stencil for the hand?
Thanks
Yeah its a stencil, I just googled a hand and cut it out.
First I used Pencil, then I used Pigment liner ink. Roughly 2-3 hours I think? Mostly because I was nervous I'd fuck something up, with that sheet being the only sheet I'd get.
I used to draw a lot before i became a shit artist on NG.
:(
i was pretty suprised when i watched it
i dont think there was a single penis in it
:(
^ there's a couple of "cock joke" thrown around in some
there's a vagina with arms and legs
drawing mine was easy as pie once i got an idea and got over my nervousness about fucking up my paper
I think mine is da best! Had a personal touch.
Quote from: anseldrawing mine was easy as pie once i got an idea and got over my nervousness about fucking up my paper
I liked yours the most. 90% or probably even more of the entries were extremely bad.

I laughed so hard at the description for your piece
Um, I was going to do it, but Luis is a fat spic and ran out of those paper things or w/e i needed to doodle on and send back.
The official shirt for the tour is available now. Anyone who wants one go and grab it.
http://www.newgrounds.com/store/product/sk...book-tour-shirt (http://www.newgrounds.com/store/product/sketchbook-tour-shirt)
lmao 3XL size?!
also the shirt looks cool
they should charge more for the 3XL
FAT TAX
Why sell a shirt advertising it? Why not sell the book, or copies of the book
because then all the artists would have to sign consent forms and luis can't afford the postage
I would still rather buy that, or go through the trouble of it, than to wear a t-shirt advertising it.
Quote from: mr. sweaty assI would still rather buy that, or go through the trouble of it, than to wear a t-shirt advertising it.
I think of that shirt as some sort of "I was in it!!" thing for the artists
although I'm not sure if they actually buy it
they should turn some of the really good drawings into t-shirt designs
if they sold copies of the art book I would maybe even buy that if it wasn't too expensive and good quality.

20$ is a lot :/
