I'm responding to RedMongoose's question.

Twitter is some sort of mini-blog service (140 characters or less per post) it's one of those new fangly Web 2.0 things that get boring and/or annoying pretty quickly. You're supposed to update it every 10 seconds with what it is you're doing. The slogan of the site is 'what are you doing [posting here of all places] right now?'

Naturally, I tried it, and got sick of it.
