i really liked mirrors
it was a nice surprise
the scene with amy smart in the bathtub was the coolest thing ever and i wish i could watch just that scene over and over again
this is a bit of that scene
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8EXvLGXbEg
i'm gonna see it with blvd-square and then we're going to watch the film it's based off of so we don't hate the american one
Now I feel like watching it
it was directed by the guy who made the hills have eyes remake and haute tension aka high tension
so i didnt think it would be as terrible as other recent remakes like shutter and one missed call
but i dont know how the people here judge horror movies so it might not be good for everyone
I think the scene with her in the bathtub is pretty badass because you don't see it happen alot.
I didn't think it was really scary though, like it was kind of predictable, except I totally figured it would have a happy ending and I was surprised when it didn't, but I guess that's pretty cool because that doesn't happen alot either. More movies should end on a down note.
yeah bad endings fit the mood of horror movies more
like the ending of the mist movie
also i only watch horror movies for cool creatures and gore
so i never judge them based on actual scariness
horror movies don't really scare me anymore but i love the adrenaline rush you can get from the buildup of scenes. i like ones with tension, not cheap jumps. so hopefully it won't disappoint. the trailers looked great. but most horror trailers are edited really well
i see she receives a Joker mouth in that scene
i want to see a horror movie with no gore or cheap scares
yum yum yum
i think ill check that movie out sometime.

read a stephen king book
the movie adaptions suck but the books are scary without very much gore at all
the movies make it seem like there is a lot of gore but there isnt that much
i think he said he wanted to see a movie not look at a bunch of boring words on a piece of paper idi0t
the only steven king thing that has ever made me scared was in the shining when danny is stuck in the bathroom with the dead lady
actually that was more of a feeling of suspense than fear
the only writings that actually make me scared are shitty creepypasta stories

This and some book I read when I was small called Coraline. Its probably more of a suspense though now that I think of it
I think if a book is really well written it can instill fear. I mean, I've read books that have made me cry and ones that have made me laugh, so I'm sure I could read one that would make me feel sort of scared.
yeah the bible is pretty scary 2 me personally
i mean its a bunch of shit and everyone is like
"oh jesus ur so great ill suck your dick"
I think that
writing doesnt quite scare me... Its the concepts behind the writing that does
Maybe thats why creepypasta are scary to me
