This is embarassing.
also, their voice recognition demo at their headquarters went horribly wrong.

but the technology should work after some voice training and without ambient noise. the kid was obviously messing around with it.
Ahaha. That guy should have just typed the coding out. I don't think the voice recognition in Vista was made for writing code.
It does, though, takes time to perfect, due to the fact that words we say can be said differently depending on the mood and our accents, and most VR doesn't seem to handle such changes just yet.
My dad tried one of these once. He tried to play Zork (or some equivalent) with it. This is roughly what happened:
"Go west"
"You said 'Gold nest'. There is no nest here."
"No, go west."
"You said 'climb tree'. There is no tree here."
"Go west, damn you!"
"You said 'laugh'. You laugh and twirl your mustache."
"*sigh* Close window."
"You said 'go west'. You walk to the west and find a huge, yellow tree with no leaves on."
*My dad laughs, and so do I*
This (apart from a few particulars) actually happened.
that made my day, "that was easy" I'll bet.
ROFL!!!
XD
lmao both those were good
