What they're doing is actually pretty smart. Kid goes to see Kung Fu Panda. Kid loves it. Tells parents or whatever. They see this shit in the shops and think it's the real deal and buy it as a present.

Oh c'mon now. Disney has been known for raping concepts for a long time now. This time they decided to join the Aladdin bandwagon, then grotesquely turning the whole shit into a sick love story as well as adding tons of unoriginal sequences eventually wrecking the whole shit until people has started associating Aladdin with Disney. Imo they ruined the whole concept.
Also note that i said that i did like some of the songs including that Prince Ali from Baba one. Other than that, the movie disgusted me really. I mean the effects and all were great but still.
