there's actually a series of photographs of a naruto fanboy who went to japan dressed like how he thought they dressed.
so you have all these nice normal japanese people in normal clothes, with this kid who is twice as tall as any of them, dressed like some sort of otaku clown car like you see at comic conventions. spikey hair, headband, ridiculous kimono and t-shirt.
he looked so stupid and stuck out like a sore thumb.
