some of you may faintly remember the old forum and its rather large ranking system. it took 10,000 posts to get to the highest rank. well, now it takes 4,000. not like anyone is going to get there any time soon, but you get the idea. at least there's something to shoot for.

your pips are now little hats, i hope you like them better than those boring blue boxes. i made them myself this morning. ^_^

the ranks are based off 20's and 30's jazz age slang. they kind of go in order. needless to say it takes a while to get a respectable title

the ranks now go as follows with their definitions:

0 - ragamuffin - a dirty, shabbily clothed urchin or child
25 - bohunk - a derogatory name for an immigrant
50 - reuben - an unsophisticated country bumpkin
100 - sap - a fool or an idiot
250 - palooka - a social outsider
500 - lollygagger - a young man who enjoys wasting time and making out
750 - livewire - a lively person
1000 - vamp - an aggressive flirt
1500 - sockdollager - someone who has a great impact
2000 - real mccoy - genuine
3000 - big six - a strong person, representing the future, power
4000 - swell - a high class person

roast dogg was the most moronic person i've ever stumbled upon online, his behavior reminded me of a dumb animal.

athing is my friend, although we both post in another forum where pretty much anything goes, but this is not the case on my boards. so, depending on where you come from, the rules are different.
