highly doubt it. they tend to have certain presets of insults to say towards certain people from certain places, they don't require to get to know the person. obviously if they knew me, they would have said that i came from newgrounds. i didn't start using deviantart again until later.
At least rtil has become more recognizable out there... in not a good way though.

ED vs artist is the same as 4chan vs scientology; it only gives them an opportunity to become stronger. scientology now has a completely professional and common internet browser friendly website interface and makes the religion look more welcoming than a 5-star hotel suite. and with all this attention - and a fancy website to boot - they're sure to become a larger organization. plus i'm sure the security on the site is much more secure after their pathetic ddos attack. so we actually have 4chan to thank for turning scientology into an ever bigger problem - a scam with a prettier face. way to go, 4chan.
with artists it's kind of the same, it gives them a chance to step above it all and become a stronger person. they can crash and burn, and most do (namely snapesnogger), but that's their own fault. deviantart is as full of detractors as it is supporters, and ultimately the people who don't like you can't do anything but say mean things to you. and that's where the artist's decision to cave in to outside opinion or ignore it comes. if an artist has resolve they'll never get weaker.

In fact I fucking hate the beach! Everytime I go even if i use spf50 fuckin sunscreen like every 15 minutes, within two hours I'll be burnt as fuck with huge boiling puss filled blisters I hate getting sunburnt so I hate the beach.
Actually I love going there at night though so I don't hate the beach. I love bonfires too.
