thats awesome, I love the lighting,
the little unpainted spots are a wee bit distracting but overall it's a great job
you've improved since last year :-)
Someone told me you can paint with spilled coffee stains. Is this true?

There aren't any unpainted spots, I painted it all black first!
Anyways thanks (:

I painted stuff on some coffee filters a long time ago.
Also, I painted with some typex correction fluid once. That would be this baby, it's still from 2006 (http://wps.drewpickles.com/art/12_20%20Mei%202006SadCatCorrectionFluid.JPG)
The smell gave me one fuck of a splitting headache!
But no, I haven't painted anything with spilled coffee stains yet, but I could always try.
I quite enjoy you're work, Mr. Schuur.
my dad likes this painting so much he's gonna hang it in his office
thats pretty neat (:
I wish my dad had an office to hang stuff in :(
I painted, in water colours of purple and yellow only, a naked man sitting on a massive pizza, and he hung it up in his boss' office.
i should get off my ass and paint more often
I like the colors on the painting. And of course the fact that you exagerated the expression
Couldn't put my thumb in it before but your style is very reminiscent of Peter Kuper! Check out his comic/graphic novel, The System!

I looked up the cover and I think I've seen that at some store, I looked inside of it for a bit.
It looked very good but I cant say that it looks like my style tbh.
this only looks good from quite a distance
hence the smallimage size
[attachment=1488:dinosaucers.JPG]
the hat on the green guy in the bottom seems off center and the bottom left dino's shine seems too solid
otherwise marvelous
its actually kind of shit
I worked several days on it but blegh
I just cant add neat detail
maybe it's this paint, or maybe I should get better at painting
at one point I actually felt like breaking the canvas in two
Quote from: wpsat one point I actually felt like breaking the canvas in two
It's pretty good. I've actually done that before though. Just snapped the canvas in half.
Quote from: wpsmaybe it's this paint
