you should have drawn and colored bags in, i thought they were freckles

I wanted the bags to look different and a tad retro, so I made them more scanner dots looking. I also figured that, since they looked like freckles, they'd be more harmless looking.

I forgot to post something not gay.

The linework is a little rough in some spots, but it's insanely cute and I actually like those dots for the bags under the eyes. It's a neat cartoony style.

Have you done any animations?

About the linework, I originally was going to clean it up, but then I thought the sketchyness looked kinda fitting for the drawing, so I retraced the lines to make clean lines with the sketchyness added to them, and then cleaned up the more out there lines.
Also, I'm glad you liked the dotted effect for the bags It took a bit of experimenting to get it that way.

As for animations, yes, I've done a few. Most of them are Clockcrew related.

I'd really check out the stuff I've done last year and this year, I feel like I really improved in quality in those since the ones before it.
They're all mostly shorts for this year and last year, with Peggey Movie being the longest (since it was on Clockday).

The title fits the expression so well
I would have gone with a slightly darker shade for the dots representing the bags, though. That way people won't confuse them with freckles =)

I probably should have. The dots are alpha'd done to a small percent (I think 30%) so that they didn't stick right out.

it might look better with some flat color that is a bit darker than his skin under the dots. it looks neat though, should prolly repeat the dots else where though...i think

Funny thing is, I meant to put a darker flat color under the dots, but I ended up forgetting to (it's also why he doesn't have a nose in the picture).

I've been working on my cartoony style anatomy to make it actually work for me. Unfortunately, I have trouble making my characters do anything and not look like shit, so I'm trying to figure that out.
But I guess that's all for another thread.
