ok so yesterday my friend told me about these things called emulators, where you can play games from old consoles on your own PCs
you probably all already know about them but when it comes to anything computer related im always way behind everyone else
so far i have a NES and SNES emulator, getting sega... thing. megadrive? yeah
plus the contra code and megaman 2 kick ass
anyone reccomend any descent games? well, yknow like descent for their time. and what was the best version of bomberman?
Yeh its called Bomberman: AT THE PLAYGROUND
what console was it on?
get altered beasts and golden axe for the sega

lmaooooo
i have like 300 genesis roms but most of the games are lame
if you only want the good ones get:
aladdin
battle toads
comix zone
earthworm jim
ghouls & ghosts
gunstar heroes
phantasy star series
puyo puyo & super puyo puyo (aka dr robotniks mean bean machine, but the japanese ones are better)
michael jackson\\\'s moonwalker
jurassic park
jurassic park: rampage edition
raiden
ristar
road rash series
shining force series
sonic 2
sonic 3
sonic & knuckles
sonic spinball
toejam & earl: panic on funkotron
vectorman series
zero tolerance
zero wing
that\\\'s all i can think of right now
those should keep you occupied for some time
the best genesis emulator is gens+, dgen is okay but it can corrupt your save files
whatever you do you have to get vectorman
that is the best game ever

I used to own near all of those games in hard copy, including an import of Zero Wing. I was a big gamer back in the day haha,
Comix Zone was like the greatest game of all time for me for a while. And I glad you mentioned Ristar, that game is fun no matter how many times you beat it.
For Snes, Freek, grab Kirby Superstar!
I swear thats the only really good kirby game.

I would agree with you. Oh, Canvas Curse on the DS was cool too.
never played that one.
the top rated game for the SNES was crono trigger. i downloaded it and it sucks dick
ty for the list rtil, i got a 5hr train journey tomorrow so thats planned
and i remmeber golden axe for the sega, great game.
oh wow. enjoy yourself then. just fyi phantasy star and shining force are RPG's. they're really good ones though, but obviously time consuming
i have massive train journeys most weekends coming home and going back to camp
Crono Trigger sucked? Did we play the same game? I love Crono Trigger, alot. But I used to be way into RPGs. WAY into them.
Last time I checked, Crono Trigger was the game with the most possible endings. And they're all awesome. But you have to be into the story and stuff, and the battle system is highly weird.
Any suggestions on a good SNES emulator? ZSNES stopped working for me a long time ago and some other SNES emulator I downloaded a long time ago is kinda lame. If anyone knows of an SNES emulator similiar to VisualBoyAdvance, please mention it.
Edit-
Kirby Super Star is one of the best games ever.
Bug-
True they are but I just like the powers for kirby superstar
FreekC-
I liked Donkey Kong country for the snes
MRat-
I liked chrono trigger as well but I played it back then
im not sure how much I would like it now if I havent played
it before.
Earthbound was one of my fave's but not too many people like
it.

HELL YEAH! You cant miss that one out. Kirby Superstar will damn well give you the joy of a lifetime. SUCK EM UP AND BEAT EM UP, KIRBY HARDCORE ALL THE WAY
Regarding the Sega roms, i personally think that you should go get the Fusion emulator. Its able to emulate generally all the Sega roms no matter console version. Its literally packed with 4 console systems. Its worth the use. AND its only 2 megs!
Edit: Fixed link. D'oh.

ooh fusion, i'll pick that up. gens+ is great but i think it only does genesis
Quote from: rtiltoejam & earl: panic on funkotron
I'm not 100% sure if that's it, but I think I saw that game in the Wii shopping channel and thought it had the best name ever.
