Title: Photoshop attempt: Anigen
Post by: psi43 on January 6, 2008 07:50 AM
Ugh, one of my first attempts at Photoshop. I didn't spend a lot of time on the linework, mainly wanted to test the coloring. What do you guys think??

I dont know much about photoshop, but it looks like the outline layer is below the highlights layer. Could just be me tho.

nah they're small white pixes around the head outline because I did some shit and couldn't get them away. Messed something up.

I also put the outline transparency to 75%.

when you create a new document, make sure to set the dpi to 300. the default is something like 72, it's horrible to work in . it's the reason why most photoshop work looks so soft and mushy. 300 will give you crisper lines and a more graphic look, which suits you. use harder edged brushes as well. blend later

I feel like that picture would be better realized in Illustrator but I dunno.
