I love TBA because my discord post history reminds me that one time a hundred years ago I used to be funny.
Sometimes I go back and remind myself like "hey what happened to being the giggle guy,how did I become so boring".
we got old

Take heart; the spirit of the poster never truly dies
i've heard zoomers and gen alpha have nostalgia for y2k-era shit they never actually experienced. maybe we are cool again and we don't even know it?

Sure, them loving Frutiger Aero and the Y2K aesthetic (like myself) was the beginning of that. although it's the typical nostalgia wave that happens every two or three decades, like in the 80's with 50's & 60's culture. but at least there's a moment to appreciate this aesthetics and I'm thankful for that.
I think if they want to indulge in Y2K aesthetics they should be forced to use dial-up internet while doing so
see how THEY like it

They also starting to develop a like for old tech, but I don't know if they are able to go that further.

LOL you gotta be careful when doing that... Punch one home wrong and you'll have to start all over again!
Though you could probably say that about many things in life ;)
