This is such a great look for this show. Feels like a real throwback to 70s kid anime. Had an actual arc as well, and consequences for the magic. The team that wrote/directed/storyboarded this should be doing every episode.
funny you mention consequences, since the teachers said resurrecting the dead would have serious ones, but since it was someone of special importance to a senior witch they got off pretty easy.
this episode really rattled me bones. i also liked the current arc and all the ones with sucy shenanigans, especially the one with the cupid bee.

I liked that episode okay but 9 was the only that really satisfied me.
