Title: suggest a gfx card + desk
Post by: rtil on June 17, 2016 05:14 AM
my gfx card is a 660ti. it is old and i want to replace it. i do not want to buy cards that just came out because they're a ripoff. i need a card that does well at high resolutions (2560x1600).

also my desk is older than anything else in my workspace. it is an old bargain ikea desk and it is literally falling apart now. i don't need a huge desk in fact i can't have one that's bigger than, say, 6 ft across.

so hmu with some gfx cards and desks. i gotta upgrade my battlestation  B)

You're in luck because AMD is dropping their polaris cards this month and not only are they more powerful they are also more efficient and cheaper.
you literally can't beat a 480 for it's 199$ pricepoint

wow and the 3dmark benchmarks seem to be universal. i'm curious how well these results will pass in to games but either way for the price performance ratio it has nvidia beat pretty badly. i'm shocked this is going to be $200 starting market value

i'll have to wait until i come back from AX to buy one if it comes out june 29th
