interesting figure studies. what exactly are you using as a reference? or are you making them up? they're somewhat abstract

No reference really just kind of pick up and pencil and draw stuff.
i would recommend trying to draw from life with a tool like pixelovely (http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/)

there is some improvement
watch out for "michelin man" (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/9a/cd/b1/9acdb142a1f3f13dccc6df5e2899ad85.jpg) ballon-esque limbs. not every appendage is oval-shaped.
