What do you do for healing.
I listen to vocaloid metal and feel angry for an amount of time then I go draw anime women doing cute traditional things
Gargantia on the verdous planet lied.
I cry.
that's not the healing method, it's just all I can do
I sleep.
I conquer
1. pick an ambient noise to listen to from here (http://mynoise.net/)
2. put on a comfy soundtrack to compliment said ambient noise
3. draw something nice

Depends on why I need healing.
If I'm angry, I listen to music and kill things in video games.
If I'm generally depressed, I listen to music and read or just like, stare at the ceiling/wall and let the music wash over me.
If I'm stressed out over something, I listen to music, jack off, and sometimes eat something.
If I'm depressed that except for my brother, basically everyone in the world who matters to me is several states away/in Canada/in New Zealand... yeah I haven't found a cure for that one yet, but it'll probably involve music.

I really need to do this. Thanks for the motivation.
Getting on a bike for the first time since I was 12. I can smell the romcom scenarios now.

insert bane joke here
What I do for healing is immerse myself in fiction, but sometimes if I'm really into a work, and by the end it doesn't live up to my expectations, it can end up doing more damage.
The media I typically feel the most spiritual investment in these cases are usually the ones that have the capacity to hurt me the most.
Books and movies are great obviously but there's something psychologically appealing and emotionally attractive about simply drawn, larger than life stock characters that I get very attached to.
I'll go ahead and call myself a faggot for safety.
I need to start biking.
I read or watch videos.
If there's someone around I can talk to i generally just vocalize what I'm feeling and what i need to do to change it for the better. I don't know why but that really helps.
making things in general is good, probably especially so if it's something non-digital
Oh now I understand what this thread means by "healing". I guess to heal, I do the following things:
1. Talking to close friends, especially if I'm feeling really down, I can walk over to my best friend's college dorm and just parasite off of him, or else I can call someone from high school with whom i'm still tight on the phone
2. Talking to family on the phone
3. Going to a drinking party with friends
4. Going on a walk at night, esp. on a town/city street, even more esp. after a few favorite drinks and cigarettes
5. Lifting for a bit to get out the anger, then doing cardio to get out the sadness (fuck u i know cardio kills gains but whatever man)
6. Chatting somewhat superficially and somewhat meaningfully with a girl who isn't particularly smart or interesting
7. Shitposting at a friend on facebook chat, or shitposting at no one in particular on thebackalleys IRC
I also do a lot of other things in an attempt to heal, such as eating a giant snack or sleeping in bed for 4 hours, but I don't consider those worth mentioning on the list since they all fail to actually heal me.
Find anything that plays to my escapism or write a lot

This reminded me of this (http://www.rainymood.com/) website that I used to go to. Went back there and discovered they made an app for my phone that can use my music library. Now I can stay in bed under the covers with my phone on the speaker/charging dock and listen to a thunderstorm with Rachel's Song on repeat all night. I need to add drawing to all that but mostly I just fall asleep.

ah yes, rainymood is great. mynoise i think was inspired by it and they have dozens of different "noise generators" that you can fine-tune which is amazing. but often times i always find myself going back to the rain. maybe it's my pacific northwest bias showing, but i love the rain.
Relating to the rain music stuff. http://youarelistening.to/ (http://youarelistening.to/)
A site that plays local police scanners and a playlist from soundcloud that's usually chill.
why would anyone listen to a police scanner to "chill"
it's supposed to be like a cyberpunk aesthetic kind of chill
SomaFM has a radio station called Mission Control (http://"https://somafm.com/player/#/now-playing/missioncontrol") that plays ambient electronic music with NASA's radio frequency on in the background with reverb. it's surprisingly calming. quite a bit of chatter on it, too.

I saw all the different options, but I kept going back to the rain too, and I like the rainymood thunderstorm better than anything I could manage.

These are both pretty cool too, though have a less of a stay in bed under the covers feel to them. Probably better for not hibernating, which is something I need to not be doing now.
I have probably listened to this track over one hundred times and it always heals me it is my favorite track maybe ever:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSWQb5aQ_LI (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSWQb5aQ_LI)
I always picture a scene at Salar de Uyuni with all my friends and we're all in heaven or something idk:

it kind of looks like heaven. but it must be hot as hell
I still really want to go there, and not just because of my Japanese animes.
Maybe some day.

Another favorite healing track. I would listen to it a lot while reading manga. Oyasumi Punpun especially, one of the most healing manga ever.
It really suited the mood I thought.
